Virtual Reality Boosts Sales of Manchester Off-Plan Development

 

  • Delph Property Group launched The Hallmark, a development of 145 luxury apartments in Manchester, to public viewing on 23rd June
  • 15 per cent of apartments were sold in the first open weekend
  • Next exhibition weekend on 21st – 23rd July

Fifteen per cent of Delph Property Group’s 145 off-plan apartments in Manchester, The Hallmark, were sold on the launch weekend – equating to over one (1.2) sold every hour.

 

With price increases in Manchester predicted at 16.2 per cent between now and 20191, when The Hallmark is due for completion, the luxury apartments in Manchester’s vibrant Green Quarter offer investors the opportunity to capitalise upon the booming property market in the UK’s largest city region economy outside London; sales at The Hallmark’s launch weekend have shown a strong demand for this offering.

 

The Hallmark is situated in Manchester’s Green Quarter 800m from Victoria Station, a busy commuter hub for the city’s 1.4 million workers. It has been designed with a high specification and boutique hotel feel.

 

Critically for investors seeking opportunities in the burgeoning Manchester property market, only a 10 per cent deposit is needed to secure an apartment at The Hallmark, which is lower than the 30 per cent or more required by many other developers. To guarantee purchasers’ security, the deposit will be held by solicitors as stakeholders until completion of the development.

 

Richard Forman, Head of Sales and Marketing at Delph Property Group, said: “The demand we received during the first weekend of sales is a clear sign that experienced investors are seeing the opportunities that exist outside the capital. However, we also credit the demand to our unique ten per cent deposit offering, which has opened up access to the booming Manchester property market to first time investors.
