Tyson Lighting is building on its reputation in the lighting design sector by opening its new city centre showroom in Manchester and has been recognised by George Osbourne as a “brilliant Northern business”.
On 17th September, Tyson launches its exciting new showroom and design practice in the Old Granada Studios building in Manchester city centre. The 1770 square foot facility showcases some of Tyson’s creative lighting projects as well as fixtures and fittings to give lighting buyers, architects, specifiers, interior designers and new venues inspiration for their next installation.
The showroom highlights the latest in creativity and lighting technology, including 3D printing and SolidWorks Professional 3D modelling software. It will enhance Tyson’s service for existing key clients, while also helping to build new business relationships within the regional, national and international design industry.
In addition, Manchester has emerged as a key focus for George Osborne’s Northern Powerhouse in the budget announcement and George himself has expressed his support of Tyson’s investment in infrastructure in the North West saying: “I was delighted to hear that Tyson lighting is investing in infrastructure and people in our region. I am absolutely committed to backing our brilliant Northern businesses.”
Andrew Gibson, managing director at Tyson Lighting, says: “Now is an exciting time for Tyson as we drive our position further in the marketplace, and to receive such positive comments from George Osborne gives us a real confidence boost.
