Specialist lender Together has appointed a new corporate development director to its commercial property team as it continues to expand.
David Cunningham, who will work with clients across the North West, joins from Secure Trust Bank. Prior to this he spent 21 years at NatWest, where he specialised in real estate finance.
David, who is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, said: “With experience spanning both the mainstream lending market and challenger banks, I’m excited to be entering the specialist lender arena. Together is very much at the forefront of this industry and it’s refreshing to see such an agile approach to lending, so I’m looking forward to working with clients across the North West to deliver the funding they need.”
Daniel Owen-Parr, national development director at Together, added: “David brings a wealth of experience to Together with his background in property finance, and is well established in the North West, having worked with clients in this region for over a decade. We’re delighted to welcome him to the team as we progress with our ambitious growth plans.”
The appointment comes immediately after Together announced a new regional development director for Yorkshire, Barry Dillon, who joins from Santander Corporate, and also Mehwish Mirza who recently joined as business development manager.
The trio of appointments are part of the ongoing expansion of the commercial team at Together, which provides finance to businesses, property professionals and entrepreneurs, working in partnership with introducers including banks, solicitors, accountants and financial advisers.
Over the past year, Together’s headcount has increased by over 20 per cent, with over 460 colleagues now based at its South Manchester headquarters, and the business announced record results for the year ending 30 June 2016, with annual lending topping £1 billion.
