Matthews & Goodman Expands Northern Property Management Team

National commercial property advisors Matthews & Goodman have appointed Jessica Higson as Assistant Facilities Manager, following an influx of new investor clients.

Jessica joins Matthews & Goodman from Lambert Smith Hampton where she spent 15 months as Facilities Management Co-ordinator. Prior to that, she spent 12 months working for Spinningfields-based Capital Properties.

As Assistant Facilities Manager, Jessica will be based across Mathews & Goodman’s Manchester and Liverpool offices. Her role will be to support the delivery of property management services, following a number of new investor clients gained by the firm over the past three months. She will also coordinate the introduction of Matthews & Goodman’s new UK based property management helpdesk, which will give clients 24/7 access to support.

Her appointment is the third within Matthews & Goodman’s Northern Property Management team during 2015, following the appointment of Tim Austin and Chris Hughes as Head of Northern Property Management and Senior Associate respectively. The appointments reflect an increase in management activity for the firm over the past 10 months.

Head of Northern Property Management Tim Austin commented, “The appointment of Jessica, coupled with our new helpdesk, will significantly enhance our property management offering not just in the north but on a national basis. The recent growth of our client base reflects how London based investment clients are choosing to invest in the north, which is great news for our region.”
