Hyde-based property consultancy, Millson Associates has completed a project on behalf of Cocoba Ltd, designing its new presence at the Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent.
Speaking of the project, Millson’s Clare Wood said: “I am proud of this project which is a testament to the kind of fit-out work we undertake both in the North West and throughout the UK."
Millson Associates, which has operated from its Tameside base since 1980, launched its
presence in London in 2013 to respond to its rapidly growing client base there. Clare Wood was put in place to oversee the operation and undertake design and project management for clients including Punch Taverns, for whom the company has also completed work for in the South East this year.
Clare continued: "We took design inspiration from the brand's established packaging, tuning the interior with the striking palette of colours already created. The main objective of the design was to form a division of space within one long linear unit and create separate retail and eatery areas. We contrasted an industrial feel with a contemporary design to create an upbeat, welcoming and relaxing vibe. To further reinforce the client's brand we created a neutral background with playful wall graphics and introduced statement furniture.
"The design of the fully glazed shop front generates an openness for showcasing products prominently within the window display. This leads to the elegant yet functional counter giving the client the perfect platform for further display."
Added client Darren Litton from Cocoba: “We are delighted with the new store; the designs for which are completely in sync with the Cocoba brand. The space is well thought out and has helped us attract a wealth of customers since our opening earlier this month.”
Millson’s growth in the capital comes just months after its head office announced a company-wide rebrand. 24 members of staff now work for the business in its two offices.
Concluded director Joe Millson: “It is exciting to see our client base growing across the UK. The leisure and residential sectors are core to our business and its where we thrive. The Cocoba project and all of our recently completed ventures throughout the UK look fantastic and show the best of our team’s design credentials.”
