Working in partnership with Knowsley Council and Sigma Capital Group, the Woodbine Road development is the first of five ambitious schemes to complete in the borough, as the final tenants prepare to move into the new homes.
Launched in March this year, the much needed housing forms part of wider initiative to bring 583 new homes into Knowsley and has created 30 new apprentice opportunities through Countryside’s ‘Employment and Skills Plan’.
Philip Whitehead, Countryside’s Regional Regeneration Director, said: “The rejuvenation of the playing fields has played a crucial role in the council’s plans to bring a variety of new housing opportunities into Knowsley. This scheme is fast becoming a real asset to the area, as high quality, affordable rental homes are highly sought-after by young professionals and growing families throughout the borough.”
Matthew Townson, Development Director at Sigma Capital commented: "Sigma are extremely pleased to launch these brand new homes to rent at the new Woodbine Road scheme. Not only is this a great location, this is our first development under our new private rental brand ‘Simple Life’ – which allows tenants to enjoy flexibility and the freedom of purpose-built rental properties, expertly managed for total peace of mind. We are happy to announce that we already only have a handful of properties remaining demonstrating the clear demand for high quality private rental homes within the area, which we are delighted to deliver working with Knowsley Council and our housing partner Countryside."
