High demand at Lovell’s Victoria Place means there is only one home currently available to buy as the first phase of development comes to an end. The popular development in Birkenhead has proved a real hit with purchasers, with 46 homes sold at the development in less than 12 months.

The government’s Help to Buy:Equity Loan scheme has proved particularly popular with 28 of the 46 purchasers taking advantage of the initiative. By using Help to Buy, customers own 100% of their home, but only need to pay a 5% deposit and secure a 75% mortgage, with an equity loan from the government covering the remaining 20%, which is interest free for five years.

The current property available is the perfect starter 2-bedroom semi-detached Hampton, priced at £111,500 (or £89,200 if using Help to Buy), which features a great sized kitchen, downstairs WC, spacious living/dining area, two double bedrooms and a stylish bathroom. The property also benefits from an energy efficient boiler and appliances, meaning ongoing energy costs will be cheaper than those associated with an older home.

Prospective purchasers interested in the Hampton or phase two of Victoria Place, which will be released soon,  are being encouraged to register their interest quickly to secure a new home at the development in 2018.

For those interested in seeing the style and spec of these homes up close, Victoria Place boasts a show arena,  open Thursday – Monday from 10am to 5pm, which includes a three-bedroom Berkley show home, two two-bedroom properties and a four-bedroom Swanford marketing suite.

Clare Noakes, regional sales director for Lovell North West said: “Demand at Victoria Place has been exceptionally high among young professionals, downsizers and families, who are moving into area which has a strong community spirit.

“The mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes has meant that there is something for everyone and the development’s location has also been a major selling point, offering excellent commuter links to Liverpool and the Birkenhead Tunnel. And following the recent abolishment of stamp duty for first time buyers, we would definitely encourage potential purchasers to get in touch quickly regarding the Hampton or to register their interest in phase two.”

Located in an established residential area near Prenton, Victoria Place has a fantastic selection of local shops, primary schools and secondary schools, all within walking distance. Nearby is a superb range of leisure facilities including a Vue cinema, Europa swimming pool and The Pyramids Shopping Centre.
