Regeneration specialist, Galliford Try Partnerships, has strengthened its North West team further, with the appointment of a new contracts manager, Simon Parr.
Simon, who joined the company from Lovell North West, will be responsible for overseeing and managing the construction department at Galliford Try Partnerships' North West business. As part of his new role he will also ensure that all requirements are met in relation to the company’s quality, environmental and health and safety procedures, whilst making sure all new developments are completed on time and to budget.
Simon has over 24 years’ experience in the housing and construction sector having previously held roles as build manager at Lovell North West and senior contracts manager at Morris Homes.
As well as contracting with councils and housing associations in the region, Galliford Try Partnerships markets its speculative developments under the Linden Homes North West banner and Simon's appointment follows a year of growth for the company as it continues to strengthen its North West offer. Over the last 12 months the team has expanded to 32 across all areas of the business as part of its expansion plan, which the company anticipates will continue with further key appointments in the future.
Simon said of his new role: “There are exciting times ahead for the North West division as we strive to deliver more and more developments and I am delighted to take on the role of contracts manager.
"As head of the construction department I am anticipating that there will be new and exciting challenges ahead but I am very much looking forward to assisting the company in achieving its goals and raising the profile of Galliford Try Partnerships by delivering high quality developments.”
