Cheshire-based luxury housebuilding group, Harvey Homes, has recently made great strides with its bespoke development in Knutsford, with house sales starting to surge and the show home now open to the public.
The launch weekend of the show home (7th-8th March) proved to be enormously successful, with lots of interested house-hunters visiting and commenting on the quality of the craftmanship of the properties.
Sales are also looking positive as four houses have exchanged already, with the first buyer moving in before Christmas. The majority of the affordable housing units at the site in Lower Peover are now reserved, with 17 open market houses still available to purchase, although several of these have already been reserved.
Cheshire-based interior design company, Marie Charnley interiors, designed the four-bedroom detached house to show off its many features, including the vaulted ceilings of the bedrooms, Juliette Balconies and spacious living areas.
Co-Founder and Director of Harvey Homes, Tom Ratcliffe, said: “Opening our first show home at Swan Green is a momentous occasion for everyone involved in the development. From the first architects drawing we knew that it was set to be a really special collection of homes and seeing it in ‘real life’ just confirms this.
“We’ve done our research and have found that housing developments that can offer a traditional English lifestyle with nearby facilities are hugely in demand. When you consider the relatively short supply of new property stock across the UK, we feel like we’ve got the perfect combination at Swan Green.
“The volume of visitors that we had during our first show home weekend was fantastic and just demonstrates that we are ticking all the boxes for potential buyers.”
Swan Green is Harvey Homes’ first development and is paving the way for many more exciting projects across the North West region. Their ethos is to build homes that offer modern comforts and contemporary living within walking distance of traditional village settings.
Ben Young, the first buyer to move into one of the properties at Swan Green commented that: “We were very happy when we came across the Swan Green development and the house that was being built seemed to be perfect for us!
“We moved from Manchester City Centre and it was a very conscious decision to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Country living, local pubs, fresh air and walks with the dog are what we are now looking forward to! Although saying that, the village has good train and road links to Manchester, so it won’t be difficult to get back to city life either.
“It really is a lovely family home and we are so looking forward to creating many happy memories there.”
Modern technology, thoughtful touches and helpful storage solutions have been combined in all of the homes at Swan Green to make life easier and more comfortable. The 30 homes at Swan Green range from two-bedroom mews and semi-detached homes to four and five-bedroom detached houses.
There are six different styles of property available at Harvey Homes’ sought-after new development. The architecture – by Altrincham based practice Calderpeel – of all the homes incorporates traditional design features that complement the picturesque rural village location, such as Flemish Bond brickwork, steep pitched gables and Juliet balconies.
Harvey Homes is a luxury housebuilding group that is committed to creating homes that are able to nurture families as they grow and develop. Harvey Homes uses innovative and sustainable building techniques to ensure that the quality of their homes is second-to-none.
