£8.4m Warrington housing scheme nears completion

Warrington-based Your Housing Group, one of the UK’s largest housing associations, is putting the finishing touches to Folly Farm Close, an £8.4m development of 80 new homes for local people.   Located on Folly Lane in Bewsey near Warrington, all properties are available for affordable rent.
The scheme, which is a mix of 47 two and three bedroom houses and 33 one and two bedroom apartments, is close to local amenities including a shop, doctor’s surgery, and a number of local primary schools including Bewsey Lodge Primary School and St Alban’s Catholic Primary School.
The development has been built in partnership with the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) who provided an £800,000 grant. The properties have been designed and built by Cheshire-based Mulbury Homes, specialists in developing affordable housing schemes for social landlords.
Stephen Haigh, Executive Director of Growth and Development at Your Housing Group said: “This lovely development enables us to offer much needed quality homes for affordable rent to local people in Warrington. The range of properties available allows us to cater for people at different stages of life from single people, young couples and families through to those looking to downsize. This scheme is part of Your Housing Group’s £150m affordable homes programme which will deliver nearly 1,400 new homes across the region by the Spring.”
Any local people interested in renting a Your Housing Group home  on Folly Farm Close should contact the Your Housing Group sales team on 0845 618 5008 or visit www.yourhousinggroup.co.uk for more details.
The scheme is due to be completed by the end of March.
