Amelie and Eva Morgan and Lewis and Toby Hunt stepped out onto the pitch together with Warriors players at the Sixways Stadium, just a few miles from their new homes at The Orchards in Droitwich.
It was arranged by Redrow, who are official club partners of Warriors.
Carly Hunt explained: “Our eldest Lewis really enjoys any sport – watching or playing – while his brother Toby will try anything his brother does and they were both really excited to be asked to be mascots. When he got into the tunnel Toby started to cry because he thought he was going to have to play, but the player he was with was really good and held his hand.”
Jo Morgan said: “Amelie and Eva absolutely loved being mascots and absorbed the atmosphere of the stadium. Amelie is small and slight and was paired with the tallest rugby player to walk out on the pitch but they both took it all in their stride.
“It makes a big difference as we went with the Hunt family who will be living next door but one to us and the children were able to get to know each other. It demonstrates that Redrow are building a community.”
Carly, who’s since moved in to her new home at The Orchards, with husband Andrew, added: “We hadn’t met any of our new neighbours until the game but we got on really well. We have seen the Morgans a couple of times since the match and they’ve been to see our new home. It’s nice knowing that they will be living nearby.
“Andrew and I have always shared the dream of owning a brand new home and making memories there together. We looked at lots of other developments and having chosen Redrow we don’t regret the decision. We never want to move again – unless we downsize.”
The Morgans are moving from a four-bedroom home to a five-bedroom detached Marlborough style property at The Orchards.
“The layout downstairs works really well with a kitchen/dining room plus separate family room and lounge,” Jo explained. “All of the bedrooms are a good size, including the fifth bedroom which James will use as an office.”
Amelie, nine, is looking forward to having the second en-suite, while seven-year-old Eva is excited because the garden is large enough for a trampoline. Even two-year-old Sebastian is talking about the new house.
Dad James said: “Redrow are one of the top housebuilders in my opinion. When we viewed the show home we were wowed by the quality.”
“Everyone at Redrow has been amazing and really accommodating, especially when we were trying to choose the bathroom tiles,” Jo laughed.
Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), said: “We’re pleased to be able to give children who will be living in our new homes the opportunity to make shared memories with their new neighbours by being mascots. It’s all part of our commitment to creating vibrant new communities where people really want to live.”
Current availability at The Orchards included three and four-bedroom detached designs, with prices from £349,995.
