Green Light for 160 new homes at new South Newark neighbourhood

The move on site will see Countryside embark on an exciting and ambitious project to create 160 homes and mark the start of the homebuilder’s expansion into the East Midlands region, following the recent launch of its Leicester office.

Priced between £185,000 and £320,000, all of the two, three and four bedroom homes will be available on the open market through a number of home buying initiatives, such as the Help to Buy scheme.

Glyn Mabey, Managing Director at Countryside Partnerships East Midlands, commented: “Having only recently launched our East Midlands office, the start of this development is an extremely important and exciting milestone for Countryside. This new scheme not only promises to deliver high quality homes, but will play an instrumental role in the area’s transformation into a brand new residential community. Whilst also creating employment opportunities for local people and improving commuter links. This is an initiative that we’re very proud to be a part of.”

Richard Coppell, Development Director for Urban & Civic, master developers for Middlebeck, said: “We are delighted to welcome Countryside to Middlebeck and add to the variety and choice of homes available here for house buyers. It is an exciting time for the project as we really scale-up housing delivery to complement the infrastructure we are putting in. We have  a growing community of over 100 homes occupied and work underway to create green spaces, a community café and new primary school.”

The Boulevard showhomes are expected to launch in Spring 2020, with the first residents collecting their keys in July. Prospective buyers can learn more about the scheme, and reserve homes off-plan, by visiting the sales and marketing suite at Bowbridge Lane, Middlebeck, Newark, NG24 3BY.
